Our goal is to help you find peace and purpose in the spaces you call home.

Life moves through seasons — and as it does, our homes should evolve with us.

Season of Less was founded on the belief that letting go isn’t just about clearing clutter; it’s about making room for clarity, comfort, and what’s next.

We provide gentle, personalized support for people navigating change — whether it’s a new chapter, a downsize, or simply a desire to feel more at ease in your surroundings.

Our approach is rooted in compassion, simplicity, and respect for your pace and story. There’s no judgment, no pressure — just calm guidance and meaningful progress.

Our Story

Season of Less was inspired by my grandma and the legacy she left behind.

When she passed, something unexpected happened. Going through her home — and her belongings — felt calm and peaceful. Her possessions were limited, intentional, and well-loved. There was no overwhelm, no stress, and no pressure to rush decisions. Instead, there was space — space to grieve, to reflect, and to be together as a family.

That experience stayed with me. It showed me how deeply our belongings can impact us during life’s most tender seasons. When we live with less excess, we leave more room for what truly matters: time, clarity, connection, and freedom. And my grandma lived a beautiful life filled with incredible memories, garnished with some special treasures.

Season of Less was created to help others experience that same sense of peace — not through perfection or minimalism, but through thoughtful, compassionate decluttering that supports each season of life. My hope is to help clients create homes that feel lighter today, and kinder tomorrow — for themselves and for those they love.

FAQ

Do I need to tidy or clean before our session?

Not at all. You don’t need to prepare your space in any way. We’ll meet your home exactly as it is and work together from there — without judgment or pressure.

Will you make me get rid of things?

Never. You are always in control of every decision. My role is to gently guide and support you, not to push or rush. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

What happens to the items I decide to let go of?

I provide donation and garbage bags, and remove up to one van-load of donations at the end of our session. Items are thoughtfully donated so you don’t have to worry about the next step.

How long does a decluttering session last?

Sessions are typically a few hours, depending on your needs and energy. We can focus on one area or spread our time across multiple spaces.

Do you help with downsizing or major life transitions?

Yes. I specialize in supporting clients through life changes such as downsizing, moving, empty nesting, or loss. These moments deserve extra care, and my approach is always compassionate and respectful.

What if I feel overwhelmed or emotional during the process?

That’s completely normal — and you’re not alone. Decluttering often brings up memories and feelings. We can pause, adjust, or slow down at any time. Your comfort always comes first.

Is your service about minimalism?

No. Season of Less is not about strict minimalism or perfection. It’s about creating a peaceful, purposeful home that supports the season of life you’re in now.
